Statistical methods to make inferences

Hello students,Previously we have discussed about how to do trigonometry step by step and today we are going to discuss the statistical methods to make inferences which comes under 12 gujarat board syllabus. As we know that statistics is concept by which we organize our data and display that data and this process includes complete process of the data analysis and this process starts from inspecting data to modeling data, it also covers cleaning data as well as transforming data.

Statistical methods to make inferences is a process, that uses the organized information so that it can obtain and make a final decision or conclusion and all the process is done when our system get affected by random variation and due to this some type of datasets is arises and conclusion made from obtained datasets. Statistical inferences are also known as the statistical induction and inferential statistics. Sometimes the result or final outcome of Statistical inferences can be a answer for the next questions.

Methods of statistics are also the basis of statistics type mathematics. They provide the primary research papers, various types of proofs and theorems so that we can complete our research. Descriptive and probability distribution are also assumes the methods of statistics. Lets take an example that will show the use of statistical inferences.

Example: - A card is taken from a shuffled pack of cards and the total trails are 300.

Suit Spades Clubs Hearts Diamond

No. of times drawn 70 50 100 80

Solution: - Find the probability of To got Hearts cards and Except Diamond card

-Total number of events = 300

Number of trial of hearts cards = 100

P (drawn card is heart)

100/300 = 0.33

-Total number of events except diamond card is 70 + 50 + 100 = 220

P(the card is not diamond)

220/300 = 0.73

In the next session we will discuss about free online math tutoring and You can visit our website for getting information about physics homework help.

Organization and display of data

When an experiment is done then all the data related to that experiment that is used for future prediction and for comparison between the data of different time of that experiment then there will be need of Organization and display of data. It will help in making the efficient and effective plan that is based on the organized data and also helps in making strategies for future that are totally base on the previously stored data .Before storing the data it should be keep in mind that how data is organized and also from where data is collected . (know more about cbse text books, here)
Data should organize correctly and it will be presented in the manner that everyone can easily understand it means and also presentation of the data must be in timely manner that means when data is needed by the user it will be available to him / her on that particular time not after so much delay and also keep in mind when data is needed by someone it can be easily retrieved by them and after collection of the data it should be organized according to some keys.
After all the organization of data there will be next very important concept of display the data. It is the only way that helps the user to understand the previously recorded data and also helps in making of some decision that based on that particular recorded data. Organization and display of data in probability is also helpful to make the future strategies and also helps in comparison of the data.
Data representation has many ways like image processing, Global positioning system. Display of data is used to understand the data and deriving the meaning for conclusion .The representation of data can be done in many ways like Statistical tables, rank order, frequency order.

In the next session we will discuss about variance
